Frontier between east Prussia and Poland in Korzeniewo, 1939
The imperial border in Korzeniewo. The cession of land of the German empire (the Polish Corridor) set out by the Versailles Treaty cut east Prussia off from the rest of the Reich. The so-called Access to the Vistula that was laid down in the Treaty of Versailles consisted in a four meters wide cobbled path in Korzeniewo and was closed before the bank with barrier and border posts
