After Aristide Briand, former French Prime Minister, Foreign Minister and Nobel Peace Prize recipient of 1926, was buried at the Passy cemetery in Paris, his remains were removed and reburied at his place of birth, Cocherel. The guests of honor stand next to the open coffin, from left: Frank Billings Kellogg, former American Secretary of State and Nobel Peace Prize recipient of 1929, Rene Renoult and the President of the local authorities
