SS member Guenter Deskowski dies in an attack by the National Socialists at a meeting of the German National People's Party in the Josephshaus in Gdansk. Photo of the funeral procession of the National Socialists through Gdansk. The funeral was attended by the Chief of Staff Viktor Lutze, Gauleiter Albert Forster and Deputy of the Senate Artur Greiser. In the photo the mourners, consisting of SA, SS and NSDAP party members, who honor the dead with the Hitler salute, which is the expression of their National Socialist attitude. This was followed by a state funeral at the St. Barbara Cemetery
