Funeral procession for the USPD politician and Bavarian Minister President Kurt Eisner. On 21.02.1919 Eisner was assassinated by the student Anton Graf von Arco auf Valley from the environment of the Thule Society. On the grief ribbon on the left in the picture stands: To the most honest German'. Eisner was the leader of the November Revolution in Munich and proclaimed the Bavarian Republic a free state. The Assembly of Workers and Soldiers Councils elected him as Bavarian Prime Minister
