The terrace of the Royal Castle in Budapest. There is the equestrian statue of Prince Eugene in the foreground. The cornerstone was put in place in the 13th century. In the 15th century the castle was rebuilt in the Gothic style, later in the 16th century in the Renaissance style by King Matyas Corvinius. Eventually the Habsburgs gave the castle its final monumental form
