The picture shows the French and German Cathedrals as well as the Schauspielhaus am Gendarmenmarkt in Berlin. The square is bordered by Charlottenstrasse and Markgrafenstrasse, intersecting with Mohrenstrasse, Taubenstrasse, Jaegerstrasse, Franzoesische Strasse, Behrenstrasse and, in the far background, the magnificent Unter den Linden boulevard. The Humboldt University and the St. Hedwig's Cathedral at Bebelplatz are also located there. The picture was taken from the Zeppelin LZ 13 Hansa
