A British soldier is kicked in the English Channel by a boot with (Soviet) star. The caption of this cartoon says Offensive! Offensive! Damned, let the stupid jokes - otherwise I will fall into it. Indeed, an unsuccessful British landing attempt at Diepe took place shortly after the emergence of the drawing, which was initiated at the insistence of the Soviet Union. Date created: 17.04.1942
