German Day of the German-American League on Long Island, 193

The German-American League which merged the German-born Americans sympathizing with the Third Reich was organized on the model of Nazi organizations in Germany, hosted a German Day on Long Island. The sympathy with the Nazi Germany is obviously shown with swastika flags blowing alongside the American Stars and Stripes, and a banner with the words: Deutschland verbunden (Germany conjoined)
