German infantry marches through a village during a maneu

German infantrymen are cheered by children as they march through a village during a maneuver. The maneuver that was carried out in the area Vogelsberg, Rhoen, Spessart and the Main Line was the largest of its kind since the First World War and placed the IX and the V Army Corps against each other. The maneuvers leadership was taken over by General Ritter von Leeb, Adolf Hitler was also present. The colored headbands were used to distinguish the different maneuver groups.
