In 1934, the so-called Staatsjugendtag (State Youth Day) was introduced throughout the Reich. The Saturday and Wednesday mornings should each remain teaching and task-free, and should be available for the educational work of the Hitler Youth. On the first Staatsjugendtag (State Youth Day) in 1934, the Pimpfe of the Berlin Jungvolk have staged camp life with joint singing in the group, on the high school sports field in Grunewald
