German Miniature Submarine, Neger
One of the manned torpedoes known as Neger is launched. The craft was named after its constructor, Richard Mohr. The Neger was unable to dive but its pilot would aim the craft at the target before pulling a lever in the cockpit to fire the torpedo.Although not designed as a suicide weapon, the Neger would frequently become one when the torpedo started but failed to its pilot
