German occupation troops leave Tientsin, 1906

The German occupation forces of the Far East Occupation Squadron leave Tientsin (now Tianjin). After the Boxer Rebellion the occupation forces of the colonial troops had the assignment to protect the embassies in Beijing and to secure the connection between the capital and the city of Tientsin on the coast in case of a possible resurgence of the rebellion
