German pilots of the close support airplanes with gas mask p
The pilot and his observer of a German ground attack airplane wear gas masks because the gas clouds on the front are hazardous even for them. On their plane you can see the machine gun mounted on the wing, on the side of the fuselage there are signal flares and below so-called Fluegelbomben (winged bombs) which were thrown by hand on the enemy positions
