German-Polish border through Wielen, 1931

This picture shows the German-Polish border through Wielen in the Polish Greater Poland Voivodeship. The southern district belonged to Poznan Voivodeship in the Second Polish Republic, the German part belonged to the Frontier March of Posen-West Prussia. In 1927 the northern part of the city became an independent municipality with the name Deutsch Filehne (Wielen)
