German soldiers collect weapons from killed Soviet soldiers
A raiding party collects weapons and equipment from shot down Soviet soldiers. The corpses remain in the trenches. During the encirclement battle of Kholm the Kampfgruppe Scherer successfully defended the town for 105 days.
