These crews of tank destroyers have shot down seven Sherman tanks during fights against the Allied forces who landed in the Normandy south-east of Caen. On the uniforms they wear the newly conferred order, the left wears an Iron Cross 1st Class, the soldiers in the middle wear the Iron Cross II Class
