Girls complete country year, 1939
Girls weave a raffia, one of the most common work in the nursery Spaeth in Ketzin, in which they serve their country year. The country year existed from 1934 to 1944. In the period from April to December, also the farmer work from the seed to the harvest, the young women were trained in a camp in the agricultural area. The country year was often a prerequisite for girls in order to be admitted to vocational training
