Girls of the Kinderlandverschickung on the Anhalter Ba

A group of girls (NSV) who were housed for five weeks in the Gau Halle-Merseburg as part of the Kinderlandverschickung (relocation of children to the countryside) of the National Socialist People's Welfare, are waiting at the open door of a train compartment to get off. One of the girls is wearing a uniform of the BDM (League of German Girls) with the Gebietsdreieck (regional triangle) Ost Kurmark on the sleeve. 750 city children participated in this Kinderlandverschickung, they were supplied with rations at the station and then brought in buses to their individual home stations.
