The LZ 127 Graf Zeppelin is welcomed by the German colony in Rio de Janeiro, who celebrate the National Day of the German People for the third time on the square of the Deutscher Turn und Sportverein. On the grandstand, which is decorated with the national flag of Brazil as well as the swastika flag and the symbols of sovereignty of the German Empire, the words Work and Peace are written with oversized letters
