The greatest cavalryman, 1898
Shipbuilder and cavalryman Fritz Conrad in the Gardes du Corps regiment in Potsdam was the tallest cavalryman in the German army at his time. The picture shows him at the age of 21 with a height of 2.03 meters. The average height of the men in the German army was 1.70 metres
