The head of the Office of athletics in the Reich federation for physical education Karl Ritter von Halt (right) congratulates the Swedish medium-and long-distance runner Gunder Hagg after his victory in the 2000-meter run in the scope of an evening sports event in Berlin's Olympic Stadium. Ritter von Halt presents to Hagg the honorary award of the Reich Sports Leader. Hagg won ahead of his compatriot Spangert and the German runner Seidenschnur
