The Heinkel He 100 fighter plane, a development by Heinkel-Flugzeugwerke, which never went into series production. Under the designation Heinkel 113, it eked out an existence in propaganda. The few pre-production aircraft were used for plant security at Heinkel-Werke. The Smoking Moon is not a squadron emblem, but an emblem found for propaganda purposes
