Hermann Goering with foresters in the Schorfheide, 1939
On Wednesday afternoon, June 28, 1939, Reichsforstmeister Hermann Goering (center) gave a hunting dinner to the participants of the Greater German Reich Conference of Forestry in the Schorfheide on the shores of Lake Werbellinsee. After the meal there was a demonstration. On the picture Goering gets the Ehrentrunk from a sutler. On the chair on the left sits Goring's wife Emmy, behind her are State Secretary Paul Korner (left) and General Forester Friedrich Alpers (right)
