Reich Minister Hermann Goering visits the Ordensburg Kroessinsee in Pomerania one day before its ceremonial opening. Pictured Hermann Goering (center left) with Robert Ley (center right), Reich Organization Leader, Head of the German Labor Front and initiator of the Ordensburgen, at the courtyard in front of the keep. Besides Vogelsang in the Eifel Park and Sonthofen in Allgaeu, Krossinsee is one of three Ordensburgen that had been erected as training centers for future command personnel (cadres) of the Nazi Party.
