One day before the official opening of the Ordensburg Kroessinsee in Pomerania Reich Minister Hermann Goering visits the castle. Pictured: Hermann Goering takes the salute of lined up formations in the courtyard in front of the keep, the 3rd person to his left is Robert Ley, Reich Organization Leader and founder of the Ordensburgen. Besides Vogelsang in the Eifel Park and Sonthofen in Allgaeu, Krossinsee is one of three Ordensburgen that had been erected as training centers for future command personnel (cadres) of the Nazi Party.
