Inauguration of the city of Pomezia by Mussolini, 1939
On 29 October 1939, Benito Mussolini (standing on the balcony of the town hall on the right, elevated) inaugurated the town of Pomezia in the Pontine Marshes, which had previously been drained. The population of Pomezia listens to the speech of in Piazza della Citta (today Piazza Indipendenza)
