Inauguration of the Iron Hindenburg 1915

Princess Alexandra Victoria - the wife of Prince August Wilhelm of Prussia - hammers in the first nail during the inauguration of the Iron Hindenburg at the K"nigsplatz in Berlin. The statue was one of the Nail Men used for propaganda and fundraising. For a charitable donation people were allowed to hammer a nail into the statue. - 01.01.1915-31.12.1915
