The German Democratic Party advertised, during the 1924 election campaign, with a hand that ignites bills with a torch, under the motto Against an inflation - imperial unity of the Republic - detachment from our enemies'. In 1923 the introduction of the Rentenmark, at the proposal of the DDP politician Schacht, stabilized the currency system in Germany.
