Installation of Marinaretti - courtyard of Marinaretti House

Young students of the Naval School of the Italian youth organization Opera Nazionale Balilla (so-called Marinaretti) gathered in the courtyard of the Balilla House of the Marinaretti in Rome in 1933. The photograph was taken from the masthead of a sailing mast, which was permanently erected in the courtyard for practice purposes. The property was located on the right bank of the Tiber in the street Lungotevere Flaminio (today it houses the Circolo Ufficiali Marina Militare, the officers mess of the Italian Navy)
