Italian ambassador laying a wreath at the memorial in Berlin
On Sunday, June 13, 1937, 1200 members of the Opera Nazionale Balilla arrived at the Anhalter Bahnhof in Berlin. Immediately after their arrival, they laid wreaths at the memorial (today Neue Wache) Unter den Linden. The picture shows (from left to right): Officers of the ONB, HJ-Staff leader Hartmann Lauterbacher (3rd from left), Italian youth leader of the ONB Renato Ricci as well as the Italian ambassador in Berlin Bernardo Attolico at the memorial after the wreath-laying. The Italian young fascists then spent eight days in a youth camp in the Grunewald near Berlin
