Italian students at the Neue Wache in Berlin, 1937
On Sunday, June 13, 1937, 1200 members of the Italian Opera Nazionale Balilla arrived at the Anhalter Bahnhof in Berlin. Among them were female students belonging to the fascist sub-organization of the Giovani Fasciste'. The picture shows two of the young women and the company commander (with flag in her hand) on the evening of their arrival during the laying of a wreath at the memorial (today Neue Wache) Unter den Linden in Berlin-Mitte. In the background stands a German guard soldier
