In 1932, the Karl Liebknecht House at the Buelowplatz in Berlin, the headquarters of the Communist Party, and the party newspaper Die Rote Fahne ('The Red Flag'), was temporarily closed after heavy street battles between policemen and Communist demonstrators. However, the call to vote on the Communist List 3 is still intact on the facade of the house
