The KDF-ship Wilhelm Gustloff
Starting date: 01.01.1938 - 31.12.1945 The most famous ship of the KDF fleet was the Wilhelm Gustloff, which was launched in May 1937 and which had room for 1, 500 passengers. With almost 10, 000 refugees on board, it was sunk by a Russian submarine in the Baltic Sea in 1945
