King Alexander I Karadjordjevic of Serbia

Alexander I Karadjordjevic (1888-1934), from 1914 Regent for his father, Peter I of Serbia, from 1921 King of the Serbs, Croats and Slovenes. In 1929 he renamed it the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, dissolved parliament and established a dictatorship. He was assassinated in 1934 in Marseilles by Macedonian and Croatian nationalists
