The old Komische Oper in Friedrichstrasse, at the height of the Weidendammer bridge in Berlin. The opera house was destroyed in the war and is not to be confused with the (new) Komische Oper (until 1944 Metropolitan Theater) in the Behrenstrasse. Here, an advertising of Heinz Coubier's comedy Aimee (UA 1938) with Olga Chekhova in one of the leading roles
