Kueppers, Count Schack and Pilot Blankenburg before the flig

In the middle of the 1930s Blohm and Voss Aircraft Manufacturer GmbH in contract with Lufthansa designed a new Atlantic airmail plane, which took off with a catapult and could carry 400kg at a speed of 250 km/h over a 5, 000 km long route.
