Landshut wedding, 1911
In the summer of 1911, the Landshut wedding of 1475 was re-enacted in a historical festival. The photograph shows the paddy wagon of the bride Hedwig Jagiellonica with her playmates, led by a man dressed as a servant. The horseman behind the carriage is believed to represent Duke George the Rich. The path of the procession is lined with numerous spectators and leads over the Isar Bridge out of the Old Town. The Church of the Holy Spirit can be seen in the background
