The Landtag of Prussia during the last session, 1933

At its last meeting on May 18, 1933, the Prussian Landtag, decorated with flowers swastika and black-and-white-red flags, with the Enabling Act voted its de facto dissolution. The picture shows the speech of Prussian Minister President Hermann Goering, behind him on the Presidential Chair the President of the Landtag and Prussian Minister of Justice Hanns Kerrl (NSDAP). Left sitting in the picture on the government bench from left to right: Education and Culture Minister Dr. Bernhard Rust (NSDAP, with swastika armband), Dr. Johannes Popitz (independent) and Labor and Economy Minister Dr. Alfred Hugenberg (DNVP)
