Launch of the SMS Kaiser Wilhelm II on 14.09.1897 in Wilhelmshaven. After Prince Heinrich of Prussia has christened the ship, he leaves the festivities together with Hereditary Grand Duchess of Baden. Soldiers line the roadside. The ship is a liner and belongs to the Kaiser-Friedrich-III class. It was the flagship of the fleet until 1906
