Launching of a replica Viking ship on the river Weser, 1
Gauleiter Carl Roever (in SA uniform at the lectern) holds a speech at the launching of the replica Viking ship Stedings Ehre in Oldenburg. The ship will be used in the documentary of the Nazi cultural community, Deutscher Wald?Deutsches Schicksal (German Forest?German Destiny). It is a 24m long replica of the so-called Nydam-ship, from the 4th century A.D. which was found in the Nydam Moor in Schleswig. Date created: 25.09.1934
