Laying of the foundation stone for the construction
On a dune on the German island of Helgoland the foundation stone for a monument is laid in honour of the lost crew of the German torpedo boats S178 and G171. The Heligoland garrison, led by Rear Admiral Jacobsen, takes part in the event. Jacobsen blesses the foundation stone of the monument
