Laying of the foundation stone for new Reichsbank building
On May 5, 1934, the foundation stone was laid for the house on Werderscher Markt in Berlin-Mitte, which served as an extension to the Reichsbank. In the morning, six men, including three members of the Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler, made the final preparations before the ceremonial laying of the foundation stone with Adolf Hitler, Hjalmar Schacht and other Nazi celebrities was to take place in front of 6000 people in the afternoon
