Leaflet campaign against fascist Italy, c. 1928
The anti-fascist aviator Aure di Bogis bought a sports plane from two Germans. With it he flew over the Italian capital Rome to drop masses of anti-fascist leaflets. He was able to escape the Italian planes chasing him, but had to ditch near Corsica due to lack of fuel. The pilot could save himself, the plane went down. Undated photo of the pilot with the plane before the action, probably taken around 1928
