Leave-taking of Reichswehr troops due to their transfer

The Treaty of Versailles imposed troop reductions at the Wehrmacht. The picture shows the leave-taking of the Reichswehr troops from Prenzlau, whose garrison has been moved to Neuruppin. The notables of the city bid farewell to the two companies, the last soldiers of the Reichswehr in a town, that was home to the oldest garrison of the Mark. Date created: 01.01.1928-31.12.1928
