Lenin and his wife Nadezhda Krupskaya. In 1898 she married Lenin, with whom she lived in exile and emigration. In 1922 the ill Lenin made a brief summer vacation in Gorki, near Moscow, where he recovered after his second stroke as well and where he eventually died in 1924. Here the two are sitting on a park bench of the house
