Louis P Lochner (1887-1975), American author and journalist at the typewriter. From 1919 he worked as a newspaper correspondent in Europe, partly as employee and war correspondent of the Associated Press in Berlin. Lochner, who won the Pulitzer Prize (1939) and the German Order of Merit class 1 (1956) lived from the 1970s in Wiesbaden and died there in 1975
