The Director General of the Scherl publishing house Ludwig Klitzsch holds a speech at the company roll call on the occasion of the opening of the Reichsberufswettkampf (National Vocational Competition). In front of him stand Werkscharen (factory troops). The Reichsberufswettkampf was conducted by the German Labor Front in cooperation with the Hitler Youth and the NSDStB as centralized performance competition for young people of all professions and businesses.
