Margarete Maultasch, daughter of Duke Heinrich VI

Margarete Maultasch, daughter of Duke Heinrich VI of Carinthia, inherited the County of Tyrol after her father's death. She wed John Henry of Luxemburg (son of John of Bohemia) in 1329, however he was expelled from the Tyrol in 1341. In a second marriage she wed Louis the Elder of Brandenburg (1342). After their son Meinhard died in 1863, she contracted the Tyrol to Duke Rudolf IV of Austria. Engraving from an unknown artist
