Martin M-130 trans pacific Clipper before take-off, 1935
This picture shows the China Clipper, a Martin M-130 flying boat which was used for lond-distance flights to East Asia. This four-engine flying boat was part of Pan American Airways and usually carried airmail. On its route from San Francisco to Manila, it usually made several stops in places like Honolulu. This airplane crashed on the 8th of January, 1945 near Trinidad and Tobago. Date created: 01.01.1935-31.12.1935
