Matthias Klotz monument in Mittenwald, around 1920
This monument in front of the church of St. Peter and Paul in Mittenwald was built for Matthias Klotz, the founder of violin making in the village. The boy on the right is a descendant of the violin maker. On the pedestal is the inscription: M. Klotz / Born 1653 Died 1743'.
